Lightroom Classic 9.0 and 9.1 not saving print settings in templates (macOS 10.15.2)

I just noticed that my Lightroom (9.0 and 9.1 classic) no longer saves/restores my printer drivers paper type selection when saving/updating templates.
I'm running macOS 10.15.2 and printer driver is 21.10 for a Canon Pro-1000.
When loading a template and pressing Print Settings, the driver is now always set to Photo Paper Pro Platinum.
Quite an issue, as I really love the ease of use of my templates for different papers and layouts, gotten used to trusting it just works, once setup.

Also mentioned in this thread, https://photopxl.com/forums/topic/lr-9-1-print-presets-bug/.

As I mention, it is flawed in both LR 9.0 and 9.1 (only versions I've been able to test on macOS 10.15.2). Cannot say when the error was introduced, might have been a third decimal upgrade to 10.15.x, or all of 10.15, not sure.

I'm also faced with a chance of color output when printing, also when printing targets for profiling from ACPU without color management. I wonder if something in the macOS 10.15.x series has broken something with printer drivers... Something is odd, but with saving driver settings in LR presets, and with color management/output from Canon driver. Critical. Please acknowledge that this is being resolved asap.

Edit:
Further tests might indicate the error is related to Canon printer driver, and not other drivers. It will _sometimes_ restore the correct paper selection, but most often not. Anyone knows where to bug report to Canon? Does Adobe cooperate with Canon and Apple to resolve such issues?
