Lightroom Classic 8.2: Missing Export Option to Create Linear DNG

According to the Lightroom Classic CC Programmers Guide, Page 67, there should be the option to create a linear DNG file via a Lightroom Export Session.  Of course, this fails (it simply defaults to 'preserveRAW') since there is no such capability provided in the Lightroom Classic CC Export Dialog.

The option to create a linear DNG is provided in the Adobe DNG Converter, but it appears to be missing in Lightroom Classic CC.  Please update the Export capability to include this option.

Thank you.

You can try this option in the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in in Photoshop.

I wish to use a Lightroom plugin to do my photo processing and then export to linear DNG.  Without such capability in the actual Export Dialog of Lightroom, this cannot be done via a Lightroom plugin.

Besides, since the Lightroom Programmers guide indicates that the functionality should be present, then it is probably an oversight that this did not get enabled into Lightroom Classic.  Either way, Lightroom has a defect or the Lightroom Programmers SDK has a defect (as per page 67, mentioned above).
