When i import raw photos from my nikond3300 to iPhoto’s they are fine, then i import them Lightroom cc on my iPad and it changes color drastically. I am at a loss. First pic is SOOC in iPhoto’s, second pic is after i imported to Lightroom cc

Are you importing JPGs? If so, what color space is your camera set to?

I’m importing raw files.. sorry, I’m not sure what you mean by color space.

But, I did a little digging and I found that for some reason Lightroom was applying “adobe color” from the adobe raw drop down menu under profiles. When I selected “neutral” under the camera matching profile it seemed to have put the pic back to how it looks SOOC. But, I don’t understand why when importing it automatically applies that profile.

Hi Jillian ,

This link should help you know everything there is to know about colour space.

https://digital-photography-school.com/adobe-rgb-versus-srgb-color-space/

I tried to find the Adobe link but it's coming up 'Not Found'

Cheers

Adobe Color is the new default profile, but obviously, you're free to select any of the other available choices.

Also, since you're shooting raw, the color space on the camera is only affecting the raw's preview, not embedding either sRGB or Adobe RGB into the file as with a JPG capture.
