Lightroom CC2015.3 crashes when opening preferences or system info, Win 10 laptop used Also tried resetting pref files, no difference.

What does the detailed crash report say? Look in the system event viewer or reliability reports for the detailed report.

This is most likely a GPU driver issue. Please check out https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-gpu-faq.html. If you're not able to get an updated GPU driver that works for you, please follow the "Manually disable the graphics processor" step to disable the GPU acceleration.

latest graphics driver installed, there is no useAutoBahn line in the agpref file, and the event viewer says :-

Your Intel video card driver is crashing.
Update it from Intel's website.
