Lightroom CC: Unable to sync from desktop

I have the same problem also. Lots of cloud storage, syncs from mobile but not from desktop. I deleted all of the photos that were supposedly syncing but it still perpetually tries to sync 9 photos. I tried resetting preference and that didn't help either.Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Lightroom CC: Desktop not syncing with the cloud.

Let's investigate a little more:

If you view your images in a grid and then click the small funnel icon top center and set the Sync Status pulldown to "Syncing" do you see any images?  If so, what type of images do you see?

It says no photos syncing on the blank screen. When I click on the cloud icon it still says 9 photos syncing.

Hi Rikk! I'm having the exact same issue as Thomas. My Lightroom CC Desktop app perpetually says "syncing 24 photos" but when I check the filter and "syncing" it says "no photos matching filter".

Hi Rikk, it lasted for about three days. I got permission this morning to do a reinstall and now everything has synced! Thank you for responding though!

Would love help with this as well. I have plenty of cloud storage (only using 10% of 1TB). Everything is uploading perfectly from my Lightroom CC app to lightroom.adobe.com. But nothing is downloading to my laptop anymore, and my synced Collections are no longer uploading. This has been going on two months. Nothing is showing up in Sync Activity. I've signed out and in on both mobile and my desktop more times than I can count. I've reset Lightroom CC Preferences. I've spent hours doing literally everything in all of these support threads, and still no luck. Help!

If you click the Cloud Icon in the upper right on your laptop and take a picture and post it here. That would help. 

Do you have any firewall software on your laptop that might interfere with Lightroom? 

Additionally, please go to Help>System Info... and get us your installed Lightroom version number.

Lightroom Classic version: 8.2.1

No firewall. 

I'm not seeing a cloud icon anywhere - only the Creative Cloud icon. Is that the issue?

That would explain it.

You are using Lightroom Classic (8.2.1). This thread is about Lightroom CC-which is a completely different product. 

Lightroom Classic can only sync one Catalog at a time with the cloud. Your catalog on your desktop (presumably Classic) holds the keys to the kingdom wrt syncing. You cannot access the same synced information from Lightroom Classic on two different devices.

Your Laptop can only access this synced information by using Lightroom CC (Currently 2.2.1) or Lightroom for web.

Hi Rikk, I have the same issue as well, the pics stopped to synchronise. I have deleted and loaded them again, but wouldn't help. Have 1T and the latest version. The synchs is hanging since 2 days. 
Have tage latest 2.2.1 version of Lightroom CC.
Uninstall / Reinstall Lightroom wouldn't help either.

Lightroom Desktop 2.3 was released earlier today. Please install it and see if your sync recovers.
