Lightroom CC removes your filters when Photo Merge tools complete processing

A workflow annoyance in the new Lightroom CC -

If you apply a filter in the Library module and then use the new Photo Merge tools to create a panorama or HDR image, as soon as the image gets created, LR removes the filter you had set.

For example, I have a folder with 100 images in it, 10 of which I've given a 5 star rating. I only want to work on the 5 star images, so I apply an attribute filter. Now, I'm only seeing the 10 5 star images, whether I'm in the Library module or if I switch to Develop. Next, I use either of the Photo Merge tools on the images. While the final image is being generated in the background, my original filter is still applied, but as soon as the image is created, Lightroom removes my filter without warning.

Now, I have to go back to the Library module, reapply the filter, and then resume the rest of my work. It sounds pretty minor, but if you're using filters all the time like I am, it gets really annoying, really fast.

The solution to this issue is to lock the filter by clicking on the padlock icon in the upper right corner of the Filter bar.

If the filter is unlocked, it will be reset when the merged result is added to the current view. If the filter is locked, it should retain its "filter by" criteria.
