Lightroom CC Photo Merge Tools & Metadata from originals

It appears the new Photo Merge tools (HDR & panorama) in Lightroom CC automatically pull metadata from the original images (or possibly just the most selected?) and merges that into the newly created image.

There are lots of times that I would rather not have the metadata from the originals copied over, so rather than having to go back and clear it out, it would be nice if there was a simple merge/don't merge metadata checkbox in the pano & HDR Photo Merge preview dialog boxes that come up.

Just a thought...

As a workaround in the meantime, you could create a Metadata preset with empty checked fields, which would clear the metadata in a single preset selection.

Good call. Hadn't thought of that. It's not perfect, but it would help speed things along a bit.
