Lightroom CC: Not Responding on Windows 10

I Updated Lightroom CC to the latest version and a day or two later received notice to upgrade to Windows 10. Since then, Lightroom freezes and says " Not Responding". Click anywhere once more and the Lightroom window goes black.I'm forced to close and restart the program. I've updated drivers (GPU included) and rolled back drivers with no positive results. What I have found, however, is Lightroom works perfectly until I crop an image. Once I crop an image, click done and click on another image in the filmstrip to edit, it becomes unresponsive. Temporary fix is to not crop images. Crop them on your iPad if you can. Note to Adobe... please fix this! I have work to do!

Tried that too. Gives me the blue, thinking circle and (Not Responding) message in the preferences widow title.

So you mean you are not able to get the GPU-off setting to be recognized because LR locks up when you try?

If so then you'll want to manually edit the LR prefs files as shown in this Adobe Help document:

I can not even get into lightroom.  When I open program, it is totally unresponsive.  I have tried to restart program and computer several times, and nothing. How can I get into program?

That's correct. But after numerous tries, I was able to un-check "Use Graphics Processor" and now it seems to be working. Thank you SSSOOO much!
