Lightroom CC gradually increases memory usage and corresponding slowdown

Maybe this is normal behavior but I thought I'd report it for future versions.

As I'm using Lightroom develop module and going through a set it seems to get less and less responsive as I go. The other day I opened it and then opened the Task Manager Performance monitoring window on my other monitor. When I started editing the memory usage was about 4.5GB (out of the 16GB that I have installed). I watched it gradually go up to over 8GB of memory usage as I was editing. As the memory usage increased the edits would take longer and longer - especially the spot fixing. At one point it got so slow just moving the pointer that I had to restart.

The worst part is that ram memory is not flushed when closing LRcc

Memory only gets flushed when some other program wants that memory. That is how Windows memory management works, AFAIK.

But a large number of those people don't understand how memory management works in Windows. (I don't understand how it works in Macs)

Mac people usually just want their programs to work, without studying memory management ;-)
