Lightroom CC freezing computer when building previews

Happens after a little while (I think when previews are being built), mouse/keyboard no longer react, computer needs to be rebooted.
Also happens in Bridge CC
Does not happen with Bridge CS6

I've done the usual recommended actions to no avail:
Update video driver to latest version from manufacturer's site (Intel  HD 4600)
Update to latest LR CC
Disable Graphics processor
