Lightroom CC: Error block use: 'an error occurred while attempting to sign in to your account, please check your account information"

I downloaded Lightroom CC a few days ago as part of a Creative Cloud package. I'm now unable to close, minimise or use lightroom cc due to a pop-up message that says 'an error occurred while attempting to sign in to your account, please check your account information. Error: (this is blank). I've updated passwords, confirmed my account, I dont know what else to do & I cant use lightroom cc or access my desktop, or shut down/restart my laptop - every time I click 'OK' in the error message it just comes back up again, its infuriating!!

I take it you've tried signing out and back into the creative cloud desktop app? https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/activate-deactivate-creative-cloud-apps.html

It looks like you're accessing the Lightroom cloud successfully now. Are things working correctly for you?
