I have tried to sync a collection with lightroom mobile. Lightroom web shows the collection, but no photos have synced - they show 'partially synced' - if I look on - inspect element, I see an error as follows :
HTTP403: FORBIDDEN - The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. (XHR): GET - https://use.typekit.net/c/6816d7/1w;a..........
I have deleletd cache folders, reinstalled lightroom and no change.

The issue has probably nothing to do with Lightroom on your desktop so reinstallation of Lr desktop will not help in this case. Do you still experience the issue? I've forwarded your report to one of our Lightroom web developers.

Hi Richard, could you please send me a LR Desktop diagnostig log - best as a private message with a downloadable dropbox link.

You can trigger the log via LR Desktop preferences -> Lightroom Mobile and when you hold down the alt key you will notice a generate diagnostic log button.

Hi Richard,

I was suggesting trying a different browser because I thought your issues was the following Lightroom web error

HTTP403: FORBIDDEN - The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. (XHR): GET - https://use.typekit.net/c/6816d7/1w;a..........

It sounds like you are reporting a different issue (stopped Lr sync issue). In that case, Guido would need the Lightroom mobile diagnostic log to troubleshoot further.

Try manually sign out and sign back into Lightroom mobile to see if it helps. See https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/help/lightroom-mobile-desktop-features.html.

Simon, I have tried setting both internet explorer and edge as the default browser, the same issue is there. I have signed out, rebooted with each browser as the default, and the situation is the same. Using Edge, is can see the same error you have referred to (and my initial post) - using Explorer - if I inspect Element - it doesn't show that same error, but there is a Message box stating 'The requested element is no longer attached to the DOM'

Hi Richard, This further confirms that the issue is specific to your new PC. As I mentioned, one of our developers went through your diagnostic log. The issue that you run into is likely networking related. It seems all binary uploads originated front the machine were timed out for some reason.

If you can send me your latest diagnostic log again and I can forward and ask it to be inspected again. Can you copy and paste your system info here from Lightroom's Help>System Info... dialog?

Will do. Is it likely to be within windows 10? I had it reinstalled (complete) last week, and have nothing much else installed other than adobe software. I'll forward diagnosics now and copy system info here also

After you have disabled defender and firewall, did you restart your machine?

Yes - both disabled. Restart machine and still no change. Deleted all data and tried again - still no change. Tried a new collection - still not working.

Hi Richard, do you have the chance to connect another WIN machine to your network via ethernet with the same Lr Desktop version running.

It would be interesting to know if the problem persists on a second machine
If so then it would be interesting to know if you router has a firewall running.
btw. what type of router do you have?

Hi Guido, yes I tried this last week using my 'old' windows PC which has windows 7. it worked fine. The router is a BT infinity router - home hub 5 (I think).

Did I get it right that you have on your "old windows PC" the same setup/versions of Adobe applications installed? For example the CC-app version, PS etc.

Correct. Obviously it has other applications as well, including antivirus installed. It seems to me to be a setting somewhere in the windows 10 / lightroom configuration. The router hasn't been tampered / altered either.
