When cropping, I switch from Original aspect ration to Custom, then I drag crop area on the image but it still behave like Original. When I hover my cursor over crop settings, it switches to Original aspect ratio itself. I found no way how to perform free cropping.

Thanks, I think this does not fix it but you gave me a clue. What I did before was to "unlock" tha lock Icon and then set custom aspect ratio. Setting custom aspect ratio locks it again by itself and I did not notice that.

So there is somehow "Custom" aspect ratio settings and "Lock" which one negates another. I remember in !old! Lightroom that "Custom" was there for setting my own aspect ratio. Here in CC it seems to do nothing but resetting "Lock".

This thread aligns with what I'm trying to do. I can unlock the constraint on aspect ratio and arrange the crop as desired, but I don't see a way to enter a custom ratio numerically, e.g. for a social media page image.
