With cloud based orientation of the whole New Lightroom CC, 20GB of storage is really becoming useless especially when syncing fullres pictures. That is lees than one memory card.

20GB is only one of the options. There is a 1TB option with or without Classic and PS. Plus larger sizes.

But more than 20 GB - cost extra - right?

20GB are 100% useless - unless you look at it from an Adobe income point of view - selling storage.

Thank you Selodon, I heard only about 20GB storage from video on Lightroom YouTube channel. Thanks for clarification, many other videos poped up meanwhile saying this.

I wonder if this is a location specific problem Rick, because the other guy I mentioned to you was also in the UK.

I've logged this issue as a bug. In the meantime, does using a different browser produce any other results?

nicky, I think we have fixed this issue. The $14.99 upgrade should be available now. Try it again and let me know what happens.

I’m transitioning to new LR CC, it is really nice to be able edit my file on cloud from any of my mobile device on the go, but 20GB is no where enough for basic RAW file workflow, the base plan 20GB storage size or 1TB and 20$ per month price are something Adobe need to adjust, or maybe provide better plan options in the future to allow more users transfer to Cloud workflow.

Using the steps I outlined at the top of this thread you should be able to get your first year at a discount of $14.99.

I too was unable to find any option to purchase 1TB of storage. But honestly, I only looked out of curiosity, because I'm not paying $15 a month for storage for my photos. First, Flickr gives me 1TB of free storage. I realize that's for published photos, but it works for me.

Secondly, I don't want all of that to sync to my phone and ipad, even if I'm only syncing previews.

I like having the full version on my desktop and LR CC on my iThingies where I can view the folders I've designated as LR mobile photos. That works for me. The new plan does not. And please not that this is not a bitching session, but simply meant to let Adobe Product Managers and hopefully the VPs that make these decisions that some people are not at all interested in this, and the paid storage is too much money, and not an interesting option. This is a good time for Adobe to hear concerns from their users as Adobe contemplates changes in LR moving forward.

What I like about the LR CC is everything is synced and can be edited from all devices, so I can work anywhere since my job requires me fly everywhere. For me, I use the cloud space as my working space but not for storage, after the work is done. I saved the completed work to my own storage, and save the cloud space for next batch of new photos. But like I said 20GB is no where enough for basic RAW worlkflow, and 20$ for 1TB per month is not for me either :(
