Running Windows 8.1 with all current updates. Just updated Lightroom 5.7 to Lightroom CC (2015). Lightroom CC causes frequent reboots of windows 8.1 with no error message or warning, making Lightroom unusable. I am a professional photographer and depend on Lightroom to earn a living. I have uninstalled, then re-installed the update. I have logged out of CC and logged back in. None of these has resolved the issue. Please let me know what other info you need to troubleshoot this issue.

When you say it causes frequent reboots, what exactly happens?

Go to LR's preferences > performance and turn off GPU to see if that stops it rebooting.

If the whole system is shutting down, rebooting, or freezing - then you're looking at an OS bug, a bug in a low level driver (video, disk, etc.), or defective hardware.
Applications cannot cause those behaviors in modern OSes.

The most common cause we've seen (by far) is bad RAM. But it could also be a bad GPU or VRAM, bad motherboard, bad disk, bad driver for the video card, a bad disk drive, bad power supply, or even a bad USB flash drive.
