Lightroom CC (2015) upright update. How to do it without the mouse? Any hotkeys or hidden internal commands which can be assigned in MIDI2LR app? This is constantly demanded option but it is not easily accessible, very inconvenient.

I am looking for exactly the same solution.. A Lightroom shortcut to update the upright function would be great. I also wonder why MIDI2LR can access basically anything, just this doesn't work.
Have you found a solution Krakzavr?

Cheers

Can you give more details about why you're frequently going to the Update button?  Adobe is more likely to consider feature requests if the fully understand the context.

Hi John,
If you have say 100 photos to batch, you press auto on transform on one and sync the rest. Update button shows for the rest of the photos to go over. There is a lot of people trying to find answers for this and nobody has any answers. I even emailed Loupedeck and they cant help me. Its been like this for many years and never has never been address to have at-least a hotkey.
(The most Ive done 700 photos to press the update button that was not fun)

To apply Transform > Auto to a batch of photos, follow these steps:

1. Edit one photo and in the Transform panel click Auto.

2. In Library, select all the desired photos.

3. Click Sync Settings, and select Upright Mode only:

Click Synchronize.

Here's a screen recording showing this for a batch of 300 photos:

Try these exact steps, and if they don't work, please get back.

Hi John
Thank you for the video and trying to find a solution, I know this method but if you tick Lens Correction "Enable Profile Correction" at the same time when batching the update tab will appears in transform if auto is pressed for the batch as-well.
Thanks
Nick

I observe the same thing. Please post as a separate bug report. (LR has a number of bugs with batch-applying other develop settings, e.g. Basic > Auto.)

I tried a workaround that works in other situations, without success: Applying Enable Profile Corrections first and then building previews.   Same misbehavior.
