Lightroom CC 2015.8 and earlier: Very thin font in macOS menu bar (compared to every other app) Retina

Since Lightrrom CC/6 the font in the menu bar of macOS is very thin compared to all other apps installed on the system and the preinstalled ones from Apple. Even Photoshop uses the right font like all Apple Apps does. Lightroom stands out in a weired way, because every time I switch to Lightroom the font in the menubar changes completly. I tried to reinstall Lightroom 3 times but this doesn't help. I have a 5K iMac, where these differances become more visable than on a non retina display.

En y prenant garde, idem chez moi, Sierra + LRCC2015.8, il s'agit essentiellement de la graisse de la police, on dirait que celle-ci est plus finne dès que LR est en service !

Being careful, ditto home, Sierra LRCC2015. 8, it's basically fat from the police, looks like this one is more frozen as soon as LR is in service!

D'autre par il est impossible de modifier la taille des Polices dans les panneaux d'affichage.

Else by it is impossible to change the size of the fonts in the billboards.

Sorry but I really do not understand what you trie to say ;-)

Regarding the setting, yes I put this to the bigger font, but this handles just the font in the program itself, not the menu bar. Until I foud this it didn't know it was possible for a program to change the font in the menu bar. Maybe Adobe has stil not implemented the new system font San Francsico into Lightroom?

Ok, mais je ne constate aucun changement de la taille de la police utilisée dans les panneaux "Dossier, Mots clé etc.", les textes ont toujours la même taille , la même graisse ???

OK, but I see no change in the size of the font used in the panels 'Folder, keywords etc', the texts have always the same size, the same fat?

For me the text size inside of Lightroom changes when I change the setting. But this is not the problem I trie to indicate. Here it is the menu bar itself where the text is different from every other app in macOS:

Marc.
The menu bar is an Apple control found in the Apple API used by all Apps. LR & Photoshop  and every other app simply call the Menu control and pass menu item values to it.  The size of the font in the menubar is the same for all apps on my 5K iMac.  You can switch between open apps on the dock and see that words like "File", "Edit", etc remain the same form app to app.

This is what I tought all the time until I installed Lightroom. You can definetly see a change in the font when I switch e.g. from the Finder or any other app to Lightroom. Like you can see on the picture the font is much lighter and the nromal font really looks bold to me compared to what Lightroom is showing. Especially when you open a menu from the menu bar you defintly see a diffeenc between normal and Lightroom. i tried everything so far with reinstalling, creating a new user etc. Just a new install from macOS is something I'd like to avoid. I simple don't know where this is coming from but it is disrtacting me every time I use Lightroom.

I just watched a tutorial on the Lightroom Youtube channel from Adobe and magnified the menu bar. When she switched from the finder bback to Lightroom there is also a change in the font thicknes, so it is not me alone.

Marc, have you tried resetting preferences to see if the font returns to normal?

Use this method to reset your preferences.

1. Close Lightroom.
2. Hold down [opt]+[shift] and relaunch Lightroom.
3. Overwrite the preferences when prompted.
4. Close Lightroom.
5. Restart your computer.
6. Open Lightroom.

Here is a video from my menu bar. (Make sure to download it because if you view the compressed web version, you cannot see the details)

If you look closely at this video at 1:53 the Finder is open and when she switches back to Lightroom there is also a slight change in the thickness of the font (no good to see due to compression) Believe me if you see this live on the retina screen you see it all the time.
