Lightroom CC 2015.7 will not sync my iPhone images to my desktop correctly

Lightroom Mobile will sync my desktop images to my iphone and iPad as well as to the web.  I can not, however, get LR Mobile to sync from my iphone to the desktop. If I open a new collection in LR Mobile on my iPhone and add images from my Camera Roll, they will sync to desktop in folders titled for the dates they were made - so many folders will be created.  If I delete one of these images, it will sync back to the iphone, but if I delete one of the images from the iPhone, it will not sync back to the desktop.

I have spent over 3 hours so far with 3 Adobe Technical Support staff - two 1st level & one 2nd level on the phone.  I have sent in a diagnostic file.  They have tried deleting the sync.lrdata file, signing in and out, etc.  On my own, I have tried setting up a new catalog with different images and the change this did produce was that instead of syncing to the desktop in multiple folders, one folder - iPhone Photos was produced.  It still did not work to keep the images that originated in the iPhone synced between the desktop and iPhone.  Now a senior technical support person at Adobe emailed me that the engineers need more time to look at the diagnostic file.  This process began on 11/8/16, which is now 12 days ago.

Any help would be appreciated.

If I read this correctly, you want to delete a synced photo on your phone and you want Lightroom for desktop to delete the file on your computer as well?

Thanks for the response.  There are 2 aspects of this that are not working.
1.   If I open a new collection in LR Mobile on my iPhone and add images from my Camera Roll, they will sync to the desktop in folders titled for the dates they were made, so many folders will be created instead of just one.

2.  If I delete an image on my iPhone, it will not delete from my desktop, but the reverse will work correctly.

Reference:

Item 1: This is a preferences setting in Lightroom for mobile that you can set.

Item 2:  This is is by design. Since your original exists on the desktop, we purposefully do not enable other devices to be able to remove the master file from your desktop.

Thanks very much for the clarifying information.  I also talked to a Senior Technical Support Consultant at Adobe who provided me with an in depth understanding of the feature set.  I now understand how to use this component of Light Room Mobile correctly.
