Lightroom CC 2015.5: Problem Loading Colorchecker Passport Profiles

Ever since the new upgrade to LR  2015.5 I am having difficulty loading camera profiles created with X-rite Colorchecker Passport. Sometimes the profiles show up and other times they do not show up at all.

The files I work on are DNG  and profiles randomly show up after multiple LR restarts. I uninstalled Colorchecker and re-installed but the problem persists.  Working with profiles speeds up my workflow and this software issue is frustrating.

Can someone please provide me with some insight and workaround solutions?

Did Adobe drop support for this plug-in or is it a coding problem?

On those images where the ColorChecker profiles fail to show, verify the file type.  Profiles will not show on JPEG, PSD, Tiff and PNG files.

Thank you Rikk but the files are indeed DNG. The camera is a Nikon D7100 and profiles created from the raw output are randomly problematic.

On the other hand, profiles created from my Nikon D700 have no profile problems.

Thanks for checking.  Just to double check:

You've used your Nikon D7100 and a ColorChecker to create some custom profiles.
Those custom profiles have been installed into Lightroom.
These profiles are all visible in the Camera Calibration panel when you've selected a raw file from this camera.

In previous versions of LR, I used  Nikon D7000 and Nikon D700 without problem.

I updated LR and started using a D7100. The problem is this last LR update using profiles created with the Nikon D7100. Some DNG files show the profiles, while other DNG files from the same photo shoot do not show profiles. And YES, I did check and they are ALL .dng files from the same shooting sequence.

Have you tried resetting your preference file since this problem started?

Close Lightroom. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] and relaunch Lightroom. Overwrite the preferences when prompted. Do the DNGs still fail to have a camera profile for the D7100 sometimes after this?

No, I haven't tried to reset. But If I reset, what settings will I lose? Will I have to reinstall presets, etc..?

Resetting will not lose presets or any critical information. You may have to customize panels, solo modes, etc.
