Lightroom CC 2015/2015.1 freezes when left idle requiring force quit

Running LR/PS Bundle on iMac late 2013 (Intel Core i7, 3.5 GHz, 8Mb RAM).

LR since 2015 works perfectly until I leave it idle for a period of time after which I get the spinning wheel of death. To re-use it or to quit the program I am required to force quit.

No other problems notice with my LR when using it. No other problems with my Mac.

Please assist

I have the same issue - (27in iMac mid 2011, 2.7GHz quadcore i5 Mac, 12GB RAM, OS 10.10.4).
I've been using the the CC photographers program since launch, but although I can't say for sure when this started happening, I believe it even happened whilst CC was still offering Lr5 to install.
then again, I also think the fault went away for a time and is back again now :-(

Can you sample the app from the Activity Monitor while it is hung, so we can see where it is hanging on your system?

I have sampled the app from the Activity Monitor. How do I attach the text file as it is too long to paste here?

It looks like the background threads are ok, but the foreground thread is stuck in the Camera Raw library. I'll ping the LR/ACR guys to take a look (but leave the file up for a few days, please).

I have the .hang files if they help the troubleshooting. Idle seems to be the key on my end -- it doesn't hang when I'm using it.
