Lightroom CC 2.1.1 image viewer doesn't work

When selecting images to view for editing (after they've been imported), I will select from the image strip at the bottom of the screen.  Upon selecting one, the full view goes completely black.  I can still select edit controls on the right, but i can't see the image at all.  This happens after I've selected 2-3 images previously, as it works when i first open the app.  This issue basically renders the app useless for me because I can't see any of the edits I'm making :/

Black screen is usually a GPU issue, so let's start there. If you go to Preferences > General > Use Graphics Processor and uncheck it, does that solve the problem. If so, an updated driver from the manufacturer may be a longer term fix.

That does fix it! Thank you so much :)  odd that this only started happening after I upgraded to 2.1.1 though (everything was fine before then).

I have this same issue after the 2.1.1 update. My image view will go black after switching to the 'crop' menu on the 2nd or 3rd image after opening the application. I've got the latest AMD graphics card driver installed.
