Lightroom: Can't undo batch rename. I accidentally renamed 1000 files and can't "Undo".

HELP! I grabbed what I thought was the last 3 images. It turned out I had grabbed all 1079 frames from an extensive ongoing job with unique filenames for each image.

I batch renamed the "3" and ended up renaming 1079 images.

I immediately recognized my mistake and hit command>Z (Edit>Undo) and rather than changing the names back it just went back to the previous Module (Undo Module Change)

Any ideas?!!! I would be so grateful if there was a way to revert these names somehow.

Is it the first time you've renamed them? If so, you could create a filename template using the Original Filename token.

Thanks Victoria, I rename them on import, and then grab the 2 to 10 frames for each product and then rename by product name with original image numbers... So I can find them based on image number, but lost HOURS of work naming the products.
