Without wifi, it is not possible to transfer images, captured by the Lightroom camera and imported directly to Lightroom on the iPhone, to another iOS device (iPad) by direct connection. Images from the camera roll can be imported but images already in Lightroom cannot. This is a problem when using the Lightroom camera (on the iPhone) in the field, with no wifi, and needing to edit those images on the iPad. All devices are running iOS 13.3. The only alternative is to use another camera such as Halide which imports to the camera roll.

Hi Michael, you could define DNG in export setup, use „Share To“ and select Airdrop, but then you do not have the Original. In addition you will have two different pictures when you are back home and sync happen via Adobe server. I have Halide as well and would not use the LR camera, especially because it is currently not supporting iPhone 11 pro.

Thanks Peter. I agree that the LR camera is to be avoided until Adobe figures out the issues. I believe they have got ahead of themselves in requiring a wifi connection for all use-cases. There's still plenty of interesting places in the World where wifi is either not available or impractical.
