I am really disappointed. As a subscriber to CC I had expected full service. I have just been told that my Lightroom catalogue needs to be no bigger than 2gb in order for the back up to work!!! This, for me is useless and I feel very cheated by Adobe.!!!

Hi Pamela, are you referring to syncing images to Lightroom mobile?

https://helpx.adobe.com/mobile-apps/help/lightroom-mobile-faq.html

Does syncing images to Lightroom for mobile use a portion of the cloud storage I get with my Creative Cloud membership?

No, the images synced with Lightroom for mobile are not counted as part of your cloud storage. (2GB with your specific plan)

How many photos and videos can I sync across my devices using Lightroom?

We currently do not limit the number of photos and videos you sync in Lightroom.

Can Lightroom for mobile be used as a backup service?
No; Lightroom for mobile is not a backup service.

(This is because syncing files from your desktop currently syncs a smart preview, not the original file)

If you're referring to this error message:

That message can be erroneous due to a recent bug.  See this help article for details and a workaround: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/unable-to-back-up-catalog.html
