Lightroom and Photoshop stability on Mac OS

I don't think anyone will dispute the power and comprehensive tools available in Lr and Ps CC particularly with the mobile apps as well, but why oh why do I have to uninstall and reinstall either or both Lr and Ps at least every few months on my iMac retina machine??? I have all the latest OS and Adobe CC updates, and Adobe phone support is absolutely no help for anything advanced. I have also tried uninstalling all printer drivers and plugins one by one to see if this fixes the problems...still no joy. Eg Error 16...all my permissions are as per Adobe help. Am I expecting too much to ask Adobe to provide better stability and integration for these premium products? Happy to be proven wrong, but I just don't get it. I need to work on photos not technical problems.

What problem causes you to have to uninstall and reinstall is it always the same problem?

It sounds like something is modifying/corrupting your permissions, or the permissions for you current user are already modified/corrupted. Usually this is caused by using User Migration Assistant to move user data from an old computer to a new computer, or by an OS update. Sometimes it can be caused by system cleaners or other 3rd party extensions.

Creating and using a new/fresh Admin user account usually solves a problem like this, and or doing a clean OS install and manually moving over documents instead of using a user migration assistant.
