How long is going to take for Adobe to fix this issue?
The Lightroom team should be held accountable.
This is the most unstable version of any major software I've ever used, or heard of.

What problem are you having with the bugs in Apple's new OS release?
Which version of LightRoom are you using?

Yes, MacOS 10.11 is having a lot of problems and introduced quite a few new bugs, but it hardly the "most unstable" ever. And Apple says they are working to solve all the new OS bugs we have documented.

Lightroom will not quit unless forced.
Unable to backup, test integrity, or optimize library.
Graphic anomalies galore. Pixilation, blackouts, etc..
I am using the latest CC version of Lightroom.

With all due respect, I have been using Lightroom literally since day one. And I have never seen issues of this magnitude before. If anyone is not having these issues count yourself lucky.
I am a professional photographer and use the program just about every day. It houses all of my photos which are the life blood of my business. This iteration has shaken my trust. I understand there are backdoor politics at work here between Adobe and Apple, but I will be on the lookout for alternative DAM software. Unfortunately LR is still the best game in town, if they deal with this issue in a quick and efficient manner. It's already been way too long without a fix.

Most of those issues already have their own topics in this forum.
And the Lightroom team is busy working on an update to solve the known issues and restore the old import UI.

Am I reading correctly? You are restoring the old import UI? How did it pass testing if it completely breaks the program! Adobe, you are so ready for disruption.

The new import UI didn't "completely break" the program, but many customers did not like the new UI and features it removed.

See this post. You can roll back to the prior 6.1.1 update until things are reverted and corrected: http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjourn...
