Lightroom Adjustment Brush actually slower with Graphics Processor "On"

When using the Adjustment brush I am finding it is slower (lag) when the new checkbox is on than when it is off. Noticeably so.

Is this a bug?

System:
MacBook Pro (15-inch, Early 2011)
2.2 GHz Intel Core i7
8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB

It could be depends on the capability of your GPU. See https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1828580 . The adjustment brush (and spot heal) are areas that currently did not optimized for GPU acceleration.

Ok
"Some controls, such as local brush adjustments and spot clone/heal, do not -- at least, not yet."
that makes sense for this issue.

I wish Lightroom could be smart enough to know itself. So if I have the option selected in preferences as a basic starting point then select a tool which has yet to be optimized (brush) Lightroom would switch that off temporarily as I work.

Or maybe the preference section could be in the Develop module panel itself.

It would seem from your post that this isn't going to be a quick progression say, for 6.2, 6.3 etc.

Thanks for the reply.
Could you put some tags on that post in the forums. I may have found it there instead of coming here.
