Trying to fine tune my Dell XPS 8930 with i7-9700 CPU, 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 display adapter by keeping drivers up to date (including BIOS) and checking disks. But, Lightroom keeps crashing (not responding) when I try to import after inserting SD card in computer card slot or via a card reader into an USB port. I have to kill the Lightroom process to move forward and often need to reboot the computer which then hangs up and has to be turned off by holding down the on/off button. This is NOT a good mode of operation for a photography enthusiast who wants to process images and not pull his hair out because of faulty hardware, operatiing systems or software. If the space station can be repaired remotely from NASA control, my technology stuff should work well. What would you do?
