Lightroom 8.3 - Auto button  no longer  active in develop module - works OK in Library Quick develop.

Second bug I have found in new 8.3 within 10 minutes of using the update!! Did you even test this release!!!

If the Auto button is not active, that means the auto settings have already been applied. To confirm, try to toggle the camera profile or tweak the Temp/Tint slider a bit.

Are you in windows or Mac? how can we replicate this issue?

Works fine for me  - Lr Classic 8.3 on Win10.

Are you sure the Auto setting wasn't already applied to the image you have selected?  Once applied, the Auto button is normally disabled until you make a change to the settings.

Try hitting Reset and see if it becomes active after that.

On a Mac running OSX 10.14.4 it runs perfectly and follow the suggestions already posted.

OK the issue I saw was running LR straight after the update - no PC reboot. Tried it this morning after reboot and all seems to be OK.
