LIGHTROOM 6 not responding Windows 7 64

I have purchased new pc, new Windows 7 64, and Lightroom 6. Since first installation of Lr6 i just cant have more than 2-3 days of normal work. Lost much time to fix problems and every day something new.

Yesterday it worked OK, today is not responding in anything but library. This problem occurs every few days and I'm really angry about that. Windows are up to date, but I had to revert them back to make Lightroom work. This is annoying and cost me time and money. Lost whole day trying to make it work AGAIN. Reverting to earlier version of windows? Not working. I have to reinstall it? For 5th time in 2 weeks?

Never had to restart my pc so many times like i have to do it with lightroom now.

I have exactly the same issue and seems there is no answer in any support forum.Ihave LR6 but I read somewhere there is LR6.1 that resolves this 'not repsonding issue'. I am at a loss as to where to update or download.
Please help Adobe.

The link above has the download for 6.0.1 and the upgrade resolved the 'not responding' issue for me.

Same over here with LR CC. Yesterday it worked fine, today only problems and bleu screens.

If you see blue screen with a cross, it indicates a OpenGL driver issue. Please follow the instructions in https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/... to see if it resolves the problem for you. If the problem continues to persist, turn off GPU acceleration in the user preference dialog.

I have a similar problem. I purchased LR 6 for my windows 7. I only got around to installing it a month or so ago, but it will not launch. I've just tried the 6.0.1 update referred to above, but to no avail. I'm getting really frustrated with it because I paid £100 for this product that I can't use. Any help gratefully received?

Hi Martin,

The latest Lr update is Lightroom 6.3/Lightroom CC 2015.3. So you try to launch Lr and it just quit? Is there any error message that you see?
