Lightroom 6 is not exporting correct when I choose the size of the long edge.

If I choose exporting with a long edge size of for instance 3543 pixels, it should make the longest edge (this could be the width or the hight depending on the orientation of the image) 3543 pixels. In stead it makes the hight 3543 pixels and with a vertical orientated image that gives me a photo of 2362 x 3543 pixels which is correct because the longest side is now 3543 pixels. But with a horizontal orientated image I get a photo which is sized 5315 x 3543 pixels.

When I choose to give a width and hight size, and I fill in the hight size I get exactly the same.

I tried it in LR 5, and in LR 5 it works the way it should.

(sorry my screenshot is in Dutch, but I should have translated it correctly)

It is working correctly for me. Have you tried a preference file reset?
Close Lightroom
Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] and Launch Lightroom
[Reset Preferences] when prompted.

Does it export correctly after a reset?
