Lightroom 6 CC system requires a minimum 1 gig of VRAM (video RAM) unlike Lightroom 5. For many users even with a relatively new computer (2 years old) with a Macbook Pro with Intel HD 4000 384 megs built in VRAM, and NIVIDEA GeForce GT650 PCIe 512 megs of VRAM a total of 896 megs of VRAM and still it is not enough Video Ram for the new Lightroom. This not only affects Mac users but Windows users too who would like to either get a Adobe Lightroom 6 or Lightroom CC. With the price of new Macbooks going up and up, it would be nice if Adobe could have designed a new set of software with lower system requirements without customers having to go out and buy another computer just to use the latest software. BTW I have 16 gigs of RAM, so if it could have used RAM instead of VRAM I would have been fine. Even if it was slower, it would be possible to get and use the new software sold by Adobe. My suggestion is to make the software more readily accessible (system requirement) for more buyers on the market.
