Lightroom 6/CC 2015: Does not respond (Windows)

Hey, I got the Lightroom 6 to 30-day trial. I want to buy the software but I had problems with it
I have just updated to Lightroom 6 through creative cloud. Lightroom 5 used to work perfectly, but 6 just keeps crashing when I try to browse or edit images.
After editing a few pictures, I try to save, then the software crashes.
It also happens sometimes in the transition between images.

Hi,

If you are on Windows, could you let us know what the
Event Viewer says in Windows Logs inside Application?
I.e one of the errors.

Have you tried to disable GPU handling in the Preferences/Performance?

thanks,
Ignacio

It seems like some information went missing. Does it help to disable GPU?

Does it help if you create a new catalog and then try to edit the settings? You can always move back to the original catalog after trying it out.
If you have Lr Mobile on - when you get an message about syncing - do not agree to it.

Do you have an AMD card? If so, update the driver to 15.8: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/...

If a different card, make sure it's card is up to date: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/...

Otherwise, manually disable Use Graphics Processor using this method: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/...
