Lightroom 6 Adobe Installer crash at 99% complete with new clean MacBook Pro 10.11.3

I have recently purchased a MacBook Pro 15" Retina running 10.11.3

I'm a long time user of Lightroom (standalone) and have used 3,4, 5 and now LR6. I'm attempting to install LR6 after downloading from adobe.com, I successfully enter my key and then an LR4 key as required. The adobe application manager runs the install, at 99% it crashes, no error code, no nothing! Just back to square 1.

Any ideas?

Did you migrate a user/computer to this computer? I'd suggest trying to install from a new Admin user account.

No it's a completely clean install, no migration.

I'm currently running LR6 on an older MacBook Pro using 10.10.5 (Well I was until the screen cracked ;) ) hence the present to myself.
