Lightroom 6.5: Keeps jumping into the import screen

I updated to Lightroom 6.5, imported a few photos, and then went into the Develop Module to work on the images.  As I was working in Develop, Lightroom would occasionally open the import screen.  It did this five or six times over an hour period.  Each time, I clicked the cancel button on the import screen, the import screen disappeared, and the Develop Module was again shown.  None of the editing I had done was affected.  I'm running Lightroom under Windows 10.

I don't suppose there's any chance you could be accidentally hitting the import keyboard shortcut?

No. I was using only the mouse as I developed the photos.

Are there any device (camera, phone) attached to the computer, where the cable connection could be intermittent to connect and disconnect?

I had a Lexar card reader plugged in, but I'm about 90% sure that I had removed the CF card from the reader right after importing the images and before beginning to edit them.  I have Lightroom set up to eject the card after importing, so even if the card was in, the card reader was turned off.

I used Lightroom again today to edit more of the imported images and did not experience the problem this time.  I think that this suggests that there was something outside of Lightroom or something that I was unknowingly doing as I used Lightroom that was the cause of the problem.  I'll provide an update if the issue occurs again.
