Lightroom 5.6: Printers ignore paper orientation settings when printing from LR print module (Yosemite 10.10)

I'm a professional photographer and I've been using LR for several years, so please don't reply with links to print tutorials and hints about print settings. This is a bona fide BUG. My printers, Epson Stylus Pro 7300 and a consumer model Canon MX922 ignore paper orientation settings when printing from LR. I can't print landscape pictures.

Hi Sonja, Did this work prior to upgrading to 10.10?

I guess Apple is the likely source of the problem. The Epson Stylus Pro 3800 was working before. Can't say about the Canon MX922 as it is a recent purchase, after I already upgraded to 10.10.

Hi Sonja,

I don't see a 7300 Stylus on Epson's site. Are you thinking of the 7800 or 7900? Or did you get this printer outside of North America?

Canon has a driver for the MX922 dated 9/24/14. And the most recent 7900 driver on Epson's site is 11/7/14. Have you updated to these drivers?

Sorry, it's actually the Epson Stylus Pro 3800, but yes I have those latest drivers installed, for both printers.

From some other threads: Just updating the driver may not work. You may need to delete the driver, delete the printer, install the latest driver then install the printer.
