Lightroom 2015: Has stopped syncing when I rename "Lavasoft. olddll"

The fix to "Photoshop CC 2017 has stopped" i.e. renaming the "Lavasoft. olddll"  allows me to load Photoshop CC 2017 but the 'Sync' icons on Lightroom CC 2015 have disappeared.  If I change "Lavasoft. olddll"  back to its original name Lightroom 2015 is OK but Photoshop CC 2017 wont work.

Uninstall Lavasoft using the directions from their site: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/crash-lavasoft-conflict.html

Lavasoft has been uninstalled but the same scenario remains. LavasoftTcpService64.dll/ini have remained.  If I change LavasoftTcpService64.ini then my internet stops completely.  If I change the LavasoftTcpService64.dll the Lightroom sync icons disappear, puzzling to me.

Contact the Lavasoft folks. They should be able to help you with their product.

The problem only started with the Photoshop CC 2017 update so I'm puzzled why or how the Lavasoft folks need to be involved, again only Photoshop has changed.

Photoshop uses a chromium embedded framework which the Lavasoft software does nasty stuff to. Photoshop operates normally on systems without Lavasoft on it.

Problem is several legit apps I use require the .dll.   Hyper-V server quit working... my ultra VNC remote desktop apps quit working...  Adobe needs to fix this!
