Have you installed the 2015.2.1 update? If you go to Help>System Info... in Lightroom, what the does it say the version is? http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjourn...

Good evening, I am having lots of trouble, when I try to develop any of my photographs the develop module doesn't work properly, It has been three painful days because Lightroom doesn't work as expected, I'v tried it on three different computers, one running Mac OS-X Yosemite, and two others Mac OS-X El Capitan, it behaves exactly the same, I've had to Force Quit Lightroom every time. Just check and I'm using Lightroom CC 2015.2.1 (Up to date). My work has been delayed because of this issue, this is terrible.

Hi Santiago, have you tried restoring your prefs after the update and quit/relaunch Lightroom? http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjourn...

Already did that, at first it got a little bit better, but way far from optimum, then it got way too slow and difficult to work with. For example when creating a new virtual copy it just lags there and then it freezes, it doesn't even repond close, had to Force Quit Again and not even that worked had to Force Shut Down my Mac, I cannot believe this situation. I'm so frustrated.

An Update on my situation, I've tested Lightroom with all sort off RAW files and discovered that it only fails when working with .ORF files from my olympus E-620, I've tested it with .NEF files from my Nikon D7000 and with .MOS files from a Leaf Aptus II-8 Digital Back for Mamiya 645DF and it works fine, even though this files are extremely large.

Something here is very strange, because of the 3 RAW format files, the .ORF are the "lightest" files and the catalog that I'm working on with such files renders Lightroom useless, I have even had to force shut down my computers several times

I'll try to create a new catalog and import those files as .DNG instead and see what happens

UPDATE: I just created a new catalog and imported my .ORF files but this time I copied them as DNGs, this new catalog seems to be working fine, it is responsive, and works at good speed allowing mi to develop my images in good conditions, I'll be testing it further more and updating if I notice any relevant information.
