Lightroom: Library filter "type" does not show videos in LR4.2

Lightroom 4.2/4.3RC, Win 7: If I have photos and videos in a collection and I set the library filter "type = video" then often videos are not displayed. Sometimes they are displayed, but I cannot reproduce the conditions when videos are displayed and when not.

How exactly do you set the filter? Do you use the library filter UI or manually edit a filter template?

I use the small icon representing movies on the upper toolbar of the library module.

When you click to turn the video filter on/off, watch the info message that displays briefly on the screen - it should list the filters you have currently active. If it says anything more than "Videos", then there are additional filters at work that are impacting your filtering result.

It says only "Videos", there are no other filters active.

I recall in earlier builds of Lightroom 4, the Library filter affected by the Used and Unused presets form Map and Book modules. Might be the same case here...
