Seems like 5.5 introduced a major performance regression. I have about 200,000 images in my library and ever since installing 5.5, when i expand my folder hierarchy it takes half a second to a second to update the image count for each and every subfolder (so a couple minutes to for the whole hierarchy). This used to take a very small fraction of the second before with 5.4. I'm on Windows 8.1 Update 1, six-core i7-980X CPU, 12GB RAM. My library is on an SSD and I’ve optimized it countless times since the upgrade. It doesn't matter if the subfolder has 0 images (only contains one or two subfolders) or 1000. It's very frustrating. Anyone else experiencing this?
