PHOTOSHOP CC 2015 - How can I get the previous drag from libraries behavior?

Why are "Libraries" contents now only linkable to the original file vs being individually editable like before?

Example: I put .psd file into my library. It is a circle with an arrow pointing to a specific design feature. When I create website designs for clients, I mark the specifics with this circle and arrow. Inside the Circle is a Letter (A-Z) to reference design details (Font size, color, dimension, etc.) It was extremely convenient to put default "A" inside the circle in the .psd for my formatting, then as I mark specific design features to quickly go through and place the circle and arrow .psd (With the "A" in it) from the library then change the "A" to what ever letter I needed. Amazingly Helpful

Now I can only edit the original file which then changes all of circle and arrow things I have placed.

Can we have an option, or is there and option, to make the library files drop into our projects as layers or as link to original psd?

Hold down the option key while dragging out the file to make it use the old behavior (you received a warning about this the first time you dragged something from the library).

Chris Cox, you are a genius.

Disadvantage of having others use the new photoshop update on my computer before I did.

Thank you!
