Kenneth, there are profiles available for this lens using the Lens Profile Downloader which is available, along with the Profile Creator, here: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/lensp...

The camera doesn't need to match.

As Lee Jay states the camera need not match (file type is more important though -jpeg/raw) so I would use the D90 sensor for the D300s. I haven't used these profiles as I don't have the lens and would suggest you try them all and find the best one for you.

None of the user-supplied profiles for that lens are particularly complete. The most complete is the one for the D3 by George Purvis, which includes four measurements -- all at ƒ/11. He varied the focal length and focus distance.

The others for the D90 are all from Spike, and each has only one measurement.

You can also create your own using the Adobe Lens Profile Creator.
