I have uninstalled Lightroom and reinstalled it to try and get the latest version of lens profile.  I have a Nikon D500 and it is not listed.  I also have the latest version of Camera raw where it is listed.  How do I get the most current version in Lightroom?

What version of LR do you have now?  Help / System Info should tell you at the top.

2015.6.1 release, Camera Raw 9.6
Under lens correction section, ! Unable to locate a matching profile automatically.  Under C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom\Resources\LensProfiles\nikon, the D500 is not listed.

Lens profiles aren't for camera models, they are for lenses.  What lens are you using?  The camera model the lens was created with shouldn't matter as long as it's full-frame, or for crop-frame cameras as long as it's from a full-frame or crop-frame camera.

If you are working with DNGs from a previous, recent version of LR, then the metadata could be messed up and that's why the profile cannot be found.  Or if you are viewing a JPG, then profiles for JPGs aren't usually made and are different than profiles for raw files.

Would you mind sharing one of your raw files, upload to dropbox, post a public-share link, here?

All the different lens I use show with the D7100.  My walk-around lens is a Nikon DX 18-300mm ED.  The lens info is there but under lens correction it is not.

Are you looking at a non-raw file from the D500 (e.g. a JPG)?

Can you upload a native raw file, not a DNG?
