Lightroom Classic: Lens correction automatically applied when new profiles are available

We have a very large adobe lightroom catalog. Since updating t lightroom classic we have had an issue with images that had presets applied to them that contained lens correction but at the time the preset was applied no lens correction profile for the lens the images was shot with existed. Since updating we now see lens correction automatically updating to these images as profiles become available for the lens they were shot with. Causing the images processing to change on its own. We apply a preset that contains lens correction to all our images so this is quite a problem. We just want to make sure you are aware of this issue

I think it will be pretty hard to classify this as a bug.

Lightroom rerenders the file each time you open Lightroom and access the file. The recipe for the render in your case includes automatically applying a lens profile. At the time you created and applied the preset it wasn't available. Now it is.

As a user, I would expect new lens profiles to render as they become available if I've chose to apply them automatically, as you have. If I didn't want that to happen, I wouldn't have included automatic lens profile correction in my preset.

If you want behavior to change from what I believe is expected behavior, you would need to file a feature request (Idea on this forum) or change this post to an Idea). That way others can vote if they would like to see the behavior change.
