Photoshop: Layer blendmode pop-up remains selected

Hello,
I have and idea about making photoshop more intuitive. There are several issues which are slowing down my working process. One of them is the situation when I change Layer Color Mode to another (i.e. Overlay) and press B (or V or w/e) and it ignores my pressed keys because it is still focused until I press ENTER/ESCAPE or start drawing something on canvas.

It is very cool that it stays focused on Layer mode box after chossing the mode because you can try other modes using arrows (very cool idea, thank you). But it would be very useful if there will be and option to quit this selection by pressing any other key than arrows.

I am professional artist and lots of my colleagues have same problems with this issue.

Thank you very much for your time.
Have a nice day

I dont follow you....
if you press arrows then it doesnt quit - the selection box will scroll through the blend modes.

To quit the box, and you said it... press enter or escape.

What am I missing ?

I meant that any key but arrows UP and DOWN would quit the selection and automatically do its job.

Thanks for the request. The current behavior is the windows default. As you already know, the workaround is to hit enter or esc.

Thank you for the answer. But isn't there any other option how to avoid windows default? I work with layer modes very often and it is quite disturbing when I have to press Enter or Esc every time after this action. In addition, when I forget about pressing it and continue working it is even more disturbing when I try to find what is the problem.

I would really appreciate if Adobe team think about this request.
