This product won't install on a case-sensitive file system. For anyone working with other UNIX systems and software, this should be an absolute requirement. Case-sensitive file systems came out in Tiger, in 2004. Now 8 years later, not supporting this option make it impossible for me to consider this product.

What gives?

We keep trying to get there, but the XCode tools just aren't ready (2 bugs get fixed, one more gets added).

I have occasionally seen weird build problems like this. In every case, the problems were fixed by opening up the Xcode project files in a text editor, searching for the incorrect name, and simply changing it to the correct name with the correct case.

With that said, here's a harsh dose of reality: if Xcode changed the case of even one path out of a hundred thousand, iOS app developers would be marching outside Apple HQ in Cupertino with pitchforks and torches; iOS uses a case-sensitive volume (exclusively).

As they say, a poor craftsman blames his tools. Quit being poor craftsmen.
