Lightroom/Bridge: How do I get labels to match between Bridge and Lightroom?

Why don't label colors from Bridge import to Lightroom and vice versa. Files labeled in Bridge only import as white in Lightroom. Changing a white label in Lightroom to match the same color as the label in Bridge and saving that metadata to the disk file changes the label in Bridge to White.

Why can't these colors be synchronized?

Adobe doesn't use the colors to store label information, they use the text which has different default values in the two programs. Bridge and Lightroom can be synchronized... Library Module, Metadata->Color Label Set

Thank you kindly, David! I'm not certain what you mean by the idea that text has different default values in the two programs.

I'm about to change the default text attached to the color values in Bridge. Let's see how this works out! :)

Edited: It seems you have to change the names in preferences of both applications to make this work
