LIGHTROOM Classic - Keywording cursor issue.

Hi all.

As found in the last vesions of LR, even in the 2017 7.0.1/Classic version the keyword-cursor misplacing issue is still present.

I'll try to explain what I'm writing about.

I select an image and I wanna assign some keywords:

I click on one of the keywords suggested: everyting is ok.

As you can notice, the cursor is correctly placed at the end of the keyword.

Then I'd like to add anothe keyword BY TYPING IT: a list of suggested keywords appears under the letters I'm typing. If I click on the desired keyword, the keyword list is updated alphabetically but the cursor places at the left of the last letter!

This is very unpleasant, because if I try to write another keyword without moving the cursor, I'll surerly change the last keyword of the list.

Does anyone noticed this issue too?

Cheers

Hi Alberto,

Thanks for reporting the issue.
I tried to reproduce this issue in Mac Book Pro 10.12.6 and Win 10 64 Bit on Lr Classic 7.0.1 but was unable to do so.

Can you send us a recording of what you are trying to do ?
Also can you install and re-install Lr Classic and check once ?

Regards,
Sumeet

I have the exact same problem as Alberto described and the same operating system as his.  The problem still exists as of Dec 21, 2017.  Should I send you a recording or did Alberto already do so?

Here's a screen recording showing a simple version of the bug:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/zpio5i126qio787/keyword-cursor-bug.2017.12.21.mov?dl=0

Note there are just three keywords, "aa", "ab", and "ca", and to trigger the bug it appears that the second keyword added start with the last letter of the first keyword added (e.g. "ca" and "aa").

Also, this is on LR 7.1 / Windows 10.

I can't reproduce it on MacOS 10.12.6.

Hi all. I'm glad I'm not the one who's reported this issue.
I thank you all for the comments.
For some working troubles, I'have not been able to record and post a video of the issue: thanks a lot to John R. Ellis for doing it.
I've just tryied to check out if in the 7.1 release this problem has been solved. Nope, it's still alive.
Thanks again, best wishes for all of you.
