Lightroom: Keyword Set Sync

I sometimes work between my iMac and Macbook and work from photos on a server in the house, one of the jobs i do is to tag photos with keywords. On my iMac i have made loads of Keyword sets for the various photographic styles, its a shame that these keyword sets do not sync on the creative cloud or through the Catalog file you have to start again on the other computer. Just spoke to Adobe and they explained that the Keyword sets are part of the program not the catalog. I think that this would be a nice feature for future software release.

The keyword sets are actually stored in a folder in the Lightroom preferences folder. Do Preferences > Presets > Show Lightroom Presets Folder to open the Finder / File Explorer on the preferences folder, and look for the subfolder Keyword Sets.

You can manually copy the files in that subfolder from one computer to the other.

I fully agree with Mitch. I have been using Lightroom since LR1 and I am really fond of this software. Lightroom CC seems to me a huge step forward and I try to use it on my laptop for more than 2 months. However key-words are a serious issue. Compared to Lightroom Classic Lightroom CC handles key words very poorly and above all sync between LR Classic and LR CC doesn't really work for key words. For me this is a huge drawback and prevents me tu use LR CC efficiently on my laptop. I hope that Adobe will change his mind and reconsider key words in LR CC.
John : the method you describe can work (thank you for this) but it is palliative and it cannot be used in a day to day workflow.
