Photoshop: Pen “sticking” in Photoshop CC

Actually i don't know if it's Photoshop's problem or rather wacom's. But i don't have this problem working in Illustrator or somewhere else besides PS. The problem's most annoying effect is working with repetitive clicking tasks — when i do something like selecting object with polygonal lasso (in other words, doing many click in a short time), at some point lasso's last part that usually follows the cursor disappears (as if pen stays in clicked state, but it's not) and when i click somewhere in document, lasso closes to final selection. It's very annoying when selecting complex shapes.

This problem repeats as well with other tools, such as brushes When pen sticks, i can't change brush size, or do anything from keyboard until i click somewhere, but it's not like it stuck in “clicked” state, brush doesn' make line. It just doesn't allow to make another operations before clicking somewhere in the document.

I bought my intuos5 4 or 5 months ago, and it worked perfectly until the last month or two. I also had problem with blank menus, described in this topic — (i don't know if it solved but i didn't get it for a while) and since this seems to be a problem with wacoms maybe these two problems somehow linked together.

Thank you.

Hi Serge,

Please try the solution in this document:

Installing the plug-in from the document above should solve:

• menus, panels, or dialog boxes turn white and become unresponsive
• keyboard shortcuts stop working
• lasso tool selections close prematurely
• Photoshop becomes unresponsive

Let us know if this solves your issue.
